THE BIG QUESTION: Are you going to find out the sex of the baby?

I think so. We've talked about it. The biggest reason is that we want to feel more connected to the baby and the best way is to be able to start referring to baby by name. And we can't very well pick out a name until we know what's going on! Of course, we will only be finding out through ultrasound so it won't necessarily be 100% accurate- but we'll take that chance.
I know that I have no interest in being surprised. I can't keep exciting secrets and hate having them kept from me! Don't get me wrong- I can keep things confidential. But when there is good news involving us- I want the world to know!
Did you find out with yours?

I know my mom didn't want to find out if I was a boy or a girl b/c she wanted it to be a suprise. So she had two names picked out...thank God I was a girl b/c I hated teh boy name that was picked out. Samuel Horase(sp?) Carter the fourth....YUCK! But after me she wanted to know to see if she needed to get alot of new stuff. And my dad(step) wanted to know if his first child was a boy or a girl. I think it is a personal decision. I wouldn't let anyone push you one way or another...though I want to know what you find out so I can start thinking of all the fun games I can play with him/her. And I promise Jeff I won't say anything too dumb around your baby. Heaven forbid it pick that up from me hanging around. oh and have you started training Ginger to fetch the bottle ?

Liz,
We did find out the sex of the baby. Jason and I both wanted a boy very badly, and that's what we got. I too, had no desire to be surprised. I wanted to have the name picked out and the room, clothes, everything in boy all ready.
Can't wait to find out. =)
